Why This Resource Exists
Calhoun County custody information is split among several systems. The Sheriff’s Police-to-Citizen portal covers people shown in current county custody, while the Records Division handles requests for booking material that may no longer appear online. Michigan Department of Corrections OTIS covers eligible state prisoners, parolees, and probationers. Federal and immigration custody have separate locators.
The aim is to make those boundaries clear. A county roster result is not a court disposition, and a missing roster result does not prove that no arrest occurred. Charges recorded at booking are accusations. Every person is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
What We Provide
Readers receive plain-language explanations of the official Calhoun County search routes, what each source can show, and when a records request may be needed. The site also distinguishes a fresh booking, current jail custody, release, state correctional supervision, and federal detention.
We do not host jail rosters, arrest reports, court files, or booking photographs. No page is a gallery of people. Links lead to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, county courts, Michigan agencies, federal agencies, and selected outside search providers where relevant.
